Henri is three years old here, with the Meyers, the Swiss family that took him in, out of the World War 2 refugee camp in Lausanne, Switzerland, when he was eleven months old.

at the Melbourne Registry, 28/6/1969 Amid the huge controversy about the play, “The Boys in the Band” in Melbourne in 1969, in which Henri played Harold, the birthday boy, he married actress Mary Ann Severne. What better wedding present for two young thespians than a picture on the front page of the Melbourne Herald?


Henri and Mary Ann live in Sydney and have two sons: Amos and Josh.
